The Appellant is currently in prison serving a sentence of fifteen years following his conviction by the District Court of Ngara at Ngara. Before that court he was charged with cattle theft contrary to section 268 (3) of the Penal Code [Cap 16 R.E. 2002]. After conviction and sentenced he unsuccessfully appealed to the High Court of Tanzania at Bukoba, hence this second appeal to this Court.
