In the notice of motion made under rules 10 and 4(2)(a) of
the Tanzania Court of Appeal Rules, 2009 (the Rules) the applicant filed an
application for “extension of time within which to make this application, and
for a further order that the Applicant be allowed to prepare and lodge the
record of the proceedings relative to the application and that the jurat
of attestation in the Affidavit be amended to show the name of the attesting
officer”. After lodging the application, he realized that an application for
revision must be accompanied by the record of proceedings. He had not attached
a copy of the proceedings for the reason that it was not in his knowledge at
the time that it was necessary to do so.
