Appellants were charged with and convicted of armed robbery and conspiracy to commit an offence. The conviction of the Appellants was based on evidence of identification and the doctrine of recent possession. Their appeal to the High Court was dismissed. They further appealed to the Court of Appeal where the main issue was whether charging the accused with an omnibus charge instead of specifying the names of the victims was proper.
