This is the second appeal originating from the District
Court of Tarime. The Appellant and his co-accused were arraigned before the
District Court for armed robbery contrary to section 287A of the Penal Code
[Cap 16 R.E. 2002]. After a full trial, the Appellant alone was found guilty
and upon conviction he was sentenced to thirty years imprisonment.
Dissatisfied, he unsuccessfully appealed to the High Court, hence, this second
appeal.
