The respondent successfully sued the Appellant in the
Resident Magistrates’ Court claiming payment of Tshs. 20,000,000/= general
damages for injury sustained following consumption of a sprite soda claimed to
have been manufactured by the Appellant. Aggrieved, the Appellant preferred an
appeal in this Court.
