The Appellant was charged, convicted and sentenced to 30
years’ imprisonment for armed robbery contrary to section 287A of the Penal
Code [Cap 16 R.E. 2002]. He unsuccessfully appealed to the High Court hence
this appeal. On the appeal the Court suo moto considered irregularities apparent on the face of the record
in the subordinate Courts.
