This is an application for revision. The Applicant instituted Criminal Case No. 40 of 2009 before the Koryo Ward Tribunal, in Tarime District, Mara region, against the Respondent for criminal trespass to land. After scrutinizing the complaint, the Ward Tribunal was of the view that the matter before the Tribunal was actually a land dispute and it proceeded to determine it and gave its judgment as a land dispute. The Applicant then appealed to the Tarime District Land and Housing Tribunal whose decision did not satisfy the Applicant. After 90 days had passed following the decision of the District Land and Housing Tribunal, the Applicant filed a revision application in the High Court.
