The Appellant was found guilty as charged of the offence of robbery contrary to sections 285 and 286 of the Penal Code [Cap 16 R.E. 2002] in the District Court of Ilala at Ilala. He was sentenced to life imprisonment. Aggrieved, he appealed to the High Court but his appeal was unsuccessful save for the reduction of sentence from life imprisonment to thirty years. Still protesting his innocence, he has preferred this appeal to this Court.
