The Appellant appealed to this Court against the judgment of the High Court of Tanzania at Dar es Salaam. The impugned judgment reversed the decision of the Resident Magistrate’s Court of Dar es Salaam at Kisutu awarding the Appellant Tshs. 20,000,000.00 as general damages for injury suffered due to a false alarm allegedly raised by the Respondent.
