This appeal originates from the District Court of Tandahimba. The District Court tried and convicted the Appellant of the offence of rape. Upon conviction, the Appellant was sentenced to serve thirty years jail term. Aggrieved by the decision of the District Court, he unsuccessfully appealed to the High Court. He has now appealed to this Court on a second appeal.
